Do you want to hire a Physical Theatre Workshop for your Theatre Organization, Drama School or University?
We offer a series of theatre workshops that range in topics and cover the main aspects of Lecoq’s pedagogy and devising techniques.
Our theatre workshop can be delivered in-house or we can hire a venue studio for you.
Workshop format
Our Physical theatre workshop can vary in duration and can be developed specifically for your needs:
Half day workshop: 3 hours.
One - day workshop: 6 hours.
Two - days workshop: 12 hours.
One - week workshop: 30 hours.
THE METHOD
Universal Poetic Awareness: Playfulness / Embodiment / Organic Movement / Anatomy of Movement.
Technique: 7 Levels of Tension / 20 Mime movements / Movement Analysis / Object Manipulation.
Devising: Collaboration (collective language) / Dramaturgical Devising (stages of the creative process) / Research Process (interdisciplinary practices) / Peer Feedback.
Ensemble: Complicitè / (Pattern) Rhythm & Tempo / Choral Work / Action-reaction.
Playfulness “as the absorbent state of mind”. Complicity, generosity and openness through the art of playing, making mistakes and having fun.
Challenge your practice, improve your body awareness and develop a movement language to up skill your acting technique.
PRICES
Facciocose currently runs theatre workshops for half a day, full day or a week long masterclasses. Prices start at £400 + practitioners’ expenses (travel, per diems and accommodation if required).
